The American Rescue Plan Act provided money to both state and local government to help offset the negative economic impact of Covid19. The Ohio Association of Foodbanks has submitted a request on behalf of all 12 Feeding America Foodbanks for a one-time $183 million investment to help our statewide network continue to receive, store, and distribute food to Ohioans struggling to put food on the table during ongoing and future economic food
Shared Harvest Foodbank and our network of 100 partner pantries, soup kitchens, and other hunger relief organizations in Butler, Darke, Miami, Preble, and Warren Counties will benefit from this investment to strengthen our infrastructure as we continue supporting neighbors in need in our communities.
