Retail Pick-Up Program

The Emergency Food Assistance Program

The Ohio Association of Foodbanks
The Ohio Association of Foodbanks, through funding provided by the Ohio General Assembly operates two programs: The Ohio Food Purchase program which purchases food for distribution to our partner charities rounding out our inventory with foods we do not normally receive from TEFAP and donations. Like TEFAP, OFP food can only be used by emergency food providers; and the Ohio Agriculture Clearance program which locates surplus agricultural products which are donated by Ohio family farmers and covers their harvesting and processing costs providing over one million pounds of fresh Ohio-grown produce annually to families who normally cannot afford such healthy foods.
Foodbank Market Program
This program is similar to a cooperative buying program, offering meat, eggs, paper and personal supplies, canned vegetables and fruits, pasta and sauce, soups and cereals, peanut butter and jelly to our partner agencies.
