• Grainger Foundation contributes $25,000

  The Grainger Foundation, based on recommendations from local Grainger branch managers in Cincinnati, Darren Lackman and Gary Brown have presented a check for $25,000 to Shared Harvest Foodbank for the BackPack program at Shared Harvest Foodbank.  This important program gives local school children backpacks of healthy food to take home for the weekend. Immediately following the check presentation, approximately 30 Grainger employee volunteers and their families helped sort and pack nonperishable food from the Fill that Bus Food Drive, assembled BackPack carriers and Commodity Supplemental Food Boxes for senuior citizens on Wednesday evening, February 17.  Many Thanks to the Granger folks for the contribution of talent, time and treasure!
